Privacy

Birth details. Your birth date, time and city are used to calculate your chart in your browser. They appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share your chart; they are not written to a database. If you share the link or the card, you are choosing to share that information.

Share card. Generating the card sends the same chart parameters to our server once to render the image. The image is cached for up to 7 days; the parameters are not stored.

City search. The text you type into the city field is sent to our server to look up timezone and coordinates. It is not logged with any identifier.

Analytics and ads. We may use privacy-respecting analytics and, on article pages only, Google AdSense. Ads never appear on chart or checkout pages. You can decline non-essential cookies where a banner is shown.

Reports. If you buy a report, the order details needed to deliver it are stored by our payment provider and by us for as long as required by law. Your raw birth time is replaced with a one-way hash after the report is generated.
